Jin's husband is a native of Xi'an. The two met and fell in love in the United Arab Emirates. Two years ago, the two got married and settled in their home in the Chanba Ecological District in Xi'an.
"Xi'an is a city with a long history. Transportation throughout Xi'an is also very convenient. Although I live in the Chanba Ecological District, it's merely a 30-minute metro ride to my school,” Jin said.
Another important reason for her falling in love with Xi'an is that the city provides Jin with unlimited development space and stage, personally and professionally. The Xi'an University of Technology, where she is studying, provides international students like herself with a profound cultural heritage, a rich learning environment, and support and care from the community.
For a long time, Xi'an University of Technology has actively carried out multifaceted international exchanges and cooperation. So far, more than 100 international students from 20 countries, including Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, and Ghana, are studying at this university.
Jin expressed, "my Chinese teachers and classmates are passionate and dedicated. Every single one I am with always inspires me. The hospitality and straightforwardness of Shaanxi people are the same as those in my hometown."
This year, Kazakhstan opened a new consulate general in Xi'an, located in the Chanba Ecological District. Jin plans to apply for a job at the consulate after her graduation. She strives to become a diplomatic staff member to share the image of beautiful China with young friends in Kazakhstan.
