SERES Group, a carmaker based in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on June 17 started its 25-day Europe tour in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, reported China Securities Journal on Monday.

Starting from Amsterdam, the tour is expected to go through 21 countries including Norway, Germany, Italy, Spain and France. During this journey of more than 10,000 kilometers, the company's new energy vehicle (NEV) model Seres 5 will go through multiple tests in various aspects including power, performance, safety, battery, charging, driving control and intelligence capabilities.

By testing the Seres 5 model in actual scenarios of different countries, environments and road conditions, the activity will allow the company to receive real feedback from the users' perspectives. With the design, quality and sales teams all participating throughout the tour, the activity serves as a good chance to help the company further improve its products, and marks an important step in SERES' global business layout.

This is the first time that SERES' high-end NEV model is demonstrated through such long-distance tour in Europe, which is among the most developed regions in terms of auto industry, according to Zhang Zhengping, rotating chairman and president of SERES Group. "Only after personally testing the comprehensive performance of our cars , can we rest assured to deliver them to our customers," said Zhang.
