With construction kicking off in August 2020, the Tengeh Floating Solar Farm with capacity of 60 MW in Singapore was formally put into operation in June 2021. It supplies electricity to five local water treatment plants and satisfies about seven percent of the energy demand of PUB, Singapore's national water agency. Its success makes Singapore one of the few countries that own a completely green water supply system.
