As China's largest special economic zone, largest free trade pilot zone and only free trade port with Chinese characteristics, Hainan is committed to building into a comprehensive deepening reform and opening up pilot zone, a national ecological civilization pilot zone, an international tourism consumption center, and a major strategic service guarantee zone.

Over the past two years, domestic and foreign investors have come one after another to share the dividends of China's reform and opening up. The number of market entities has grown rapidly from 610,000 to 940,000, including 28 Fortune 500 companies. Internationally renowned accounting firms and educational institutions such as PwC, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Harrow School in the UK have also settled in Hainan.
