The Chinese People's Liberation Army Railway Engineering Corps was established in July 1948.
1984.01
The Railway Engineering Corps was merged into the Ministry of Railways and renamed the Engineering Headquarters of the Ministry of Railways, with 140,000 soldiers being transferred collectively to civilian work.
1990.08
The Head Office of China Railway Construction Company was established.
2000.09
China Railway Construction Company was separated from the Ministry of Railways and handed over to the central SOE Working Committee.
2003.03
The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council were established and took charge of the Head Office of China Railway Construction Company.
2007.11
The CRCC was formally established through overall restructuring and reform.
2008.03
The CRCC was listed in Shanghai and Hong Kong Stock Market, respectively.
2010.11
The Mecca Light Rail, undertaken by CRCC, was put into operation.

2012.04
The middle and west segments of Algeria East-West Expressway, undertaken by CRCC, were completed.
2014.07
The Ankara-Istanbul high-speed railway, undertaken by CCECC, a subsidiary of CRCC, was officially opened to traffic.
2016.10
The Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway, undertaken by CCECC, a subsidiary of CRCC, was officially opened to traffic.
2017.11
The construction of the Belgrade-Stara Pazova section of the Belgrade-Budapest Railway started.
2018.09
The Saudi Mekka-Medina High-speed Rail, built with the participation of CRCC, was officially opened to traffic.
2019.10
The Benguela Railway in Angola undertaken by CRCC was officially delivered.
2021.06
The Dapilon-Santou Railway in Guinea, undertaken by CRCC, was officially completed and opened to traffic.
2021.09
The main part of the Lusail Stadium project undertaken by CRCC, has been completed.
